Travel to Duluth, Minnesota for a one-hotel stay and enjoy the many wonders surrounding Lake Superior both in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Tour the Split Rock Lighthouse, Cruise the Apostle Islands, and Ride the North Shore Scenic Railroad.

DAY 1– Welcome to Duluth
Depart early this morning on a deluxe motorcoach and travel north into Minnesota. After a break stop on your own in the Twin Cities area. Lunch is included in Hinckley, then it is on to Duluth where we stop at the Lake Superior Maritime Visitors Center. Here you will be joined by a local guide for a short riding tour of Duluth before checking into the hotel for a three-night stay. Dinner this evening is included at The Depot, part of the St. Louis County Heritage Center. Pier B Hotel (L, D)
DAY 2 – Along the Shore
After an included breakfast at the hotel, you board the North Shore Scenic Railroad for a one-way narrated ride along the shores of Lake Superior. A box lunch is included on the journey. You board your motorcoach and travel to Gooseberry Falls State Park to visit the Interpretive Center, see the Falls, and browse the gift shop. Next is a visit to the restored historic Split Rock Lighthouse for a narrated tour that includes the lighthouse, the keeper’s cottage and the museum. You return to Duluth for some free time in the Canal Park Area for shopping and dinner on your own. Overnight is again in Duluth. (B, L)
DAY 3 – Apostle Islands
Enjoy another breakfast at the hotel in preparation for a day that will include some time on Lake Superior. Your motorcoach will take you to Bayfield, Wisconsin this morning where you will board a boat for a 55-mile scenic narrated cruise through the beautiful Apostle Islands. Experience lighthouses, sea caves, marine life and the history of these Crown Jewels of Lake Superior. You will have time for lunch on your own and some s hopping before returning to Duluth. This evening, you will be our guests on a splendid dinner cruise on Lake Superior. Overnight will be in Duluth. (B, D)
DAY 4 – Travel Home
It is breakfast time at the hotel before packing your bags in preparation to travel home. Before we depart Duluth, we have admission to the Great Lakes Aquarium featuring exhibits of hundreds of species from not only the Great Lakes, but around the world. With wonderful memories of Duluth and the Lake Superior region to take with us, we begin our journey home. (B)
