We begin our tour to Branson, MO – an Ozark Mountain town in southwest Missouri known as a family vacation destination. Here, 76 Country Boulevard is famously lined with theaters. It once was mostly country music performers, but today has grown and presents a diversity of entertainment. En route, we overnight in Kansas City, MO. Don't forget about Drury's Inn Kickback meal, 5:30 PM-7 PM. Drury's Inn & Suites
We arrive in Branson at mid-day, with lunch on own. We will be here for three nights at the Holiday Inn Express on the Strip, or similar. Our first show will be at 2 PM and features Daniel O’Donnell. He is without a doubt, one of the most requested and attended performers to take the Branson stage. From his humble Irish roots to his growing success in Europe (and eventually around the world), he grew to become one of the world’s most prominent Irish singers. Late afternoon we enjoy a chef-inspired meal before our evening show. The dinner is actually in the Theatre and following that we see the show “Six.” This is a contemporary vocal band on power-mode, featuring six real-life brothers, Barry, Kevin, Lynn, Jak, Owen and Curtis who take musical entertainment to a different level. Critically acclaimed and dubbed as “an orchestra of human voices” and “masters of showmanship,” these multi-talented brothers sound like a band using only their mouths. Pioneers of a cappella, the six Knudsen brothers have been singing contemporary with incredible beatbox vocals and harmonizing since they were children, over 40 years in total. No trip to Branson is ever complete without a little shopping and this day begins with a morning at The Grand Village Shops. There are 27 shops in total, including one of the largest Christmas Stores in the Midwest, a bakery/tearoom, and Mel's Hard Luck Diner. Stores include Back in Time Toys, Grand Glitz, Dickens Gift Shoppe, Kringles, Peter Engler's Designs, Corky's footwear, Sunrise Leather Shop, Mulberry Mill, and more! This afternoon, we have a matinee performance of "Queen Esther" at Sight & Sound Theaters. Esther's ordinary life changes forever when she steps through the doors of the palace. Our evening dinner is at the Grand Country Buffet and is followed by a show performed by the Texas Tenors. This sensational trio will thrill you as they sing everything from country ballads to opera’s favorite arias. There's something about the amazing vocals displayed by “The Texas Tenors,” with that incredible harmony that sounds extra fabulous any time you get to see them! Match that with visual elements and effects, as well as singers, dancers, and delightfully magical characters, they will appeal to the youngest fans as well as the oldest! Holiday Inn Express Branson
