We arrive in New Orleans and transfer to our picturesque French Quarter hotel where we meet our tour guide. After, we enjoy free time in Frenchman Market. Buy love potion, alligator heads, Voodoo dolls, Cajun spices and much more. While there, do not forget to try the Alligator Jerky! Before leaving the Frenchman Market, we try a New Orleans Famous Snowball – a sweetened snow cone topped with condensed milk. Later, we have a traditional meal and experience the delicious Cajun-Creole cuisine, where we have the option of eating Jambalaya, Gumbo or Red Beans and Rice. Old 77 Hotel or similar

This morning, we head outside of New Orleans to visit Laura Plantation, a historic Louisiana Creole plantation on the west bank of the Mississippi River. On our tour, we learn about Creole culture and the sobering experience of slavery in the South, and how it shaped Louisiana and the United States. After our tour, we head to Parkway’s Bakery and Tavern for a traditional Po-Boy and learn the story behind this iconic NOLA Sandwich! After lunch, we meander around the French Quarter during some free time. Later, we head to New Orleans School of Cooking. We learn all their cooking secrets including the term “Holy Trinity.” After cooking, we sit and enjoy our delicious creations before walking to get pralines – a sweet pecan dessert. We then continue on an optional tour to the oldest bar in the United States – Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop. While enjoying a Hurricane cocktail, keep an eye out for spirits that walk the floors of this 1700 mysterious bar. Old 77 Hotel or similar

This morning, we make our way to the amazing Mardi Gras World to see the production of Mardi Gras floats and learn about many special traditions and try some King Cake. After lunch, we learn how to make colorful Mardi Gras masks from the best of the best. This afternoon, we head to one of the most famous voodoo shops, where we can buy tarot cards, dolls, and ritual bags before enjoying free time in the French Quarter. Tonight, we explore one of the oldest cemeteries in the United States. On this Voodoo & Cemetery tour, we learn about New Orleans' invisible mysterious forces, and we might even see a spooky ghost or two in the City of the Dead! Old 77 Hotel or similar

Today is dedicated to food! We start our day off by heading to Café du Monde to try the famous Beignets and Café au Lait! Afterward, we head to have a one-of Laura Plantation-a-kind New Orleans Experience at a Seafood Restaurant. We can try oysters, catfish, and delicious crawfish. After lunch, we continue to Brennan’s Restaurant for Banana Foster and afternoon coffee. Later today, we board the old, famous Natchez Steamboat for a dinner cruise. Watch the beautiful sunset over the Mississippi River, a fitting end on our last night in New Orleans. Old 77 Hotel or similar

This morning, we head to the famous Magazine Street for brunch, where we can enjoy fried chicken and waffles. We then have free time to enjoy a café of our choice or check out the funky vintage shops, antique stores and cool art galleries. After, we make our way to the airport and say one last goodbye to the “Big Easy” New Orleans.

Deposit: $500 per person due at time of booking - final payment due 90 days prior to departure
Cancellation Policy
From the time of deposit to 90 days before departure a $100 administrative fee plus any
airfare penalties (if applicable) will be assessed. From 89-31 days, a $300 cancellation penalty plus lost airfare deposits and any unrecoverable deposits to ground suppliers will be assessed. Airline tickets once purchased are nonrefundable. Anyone canceling less than 30 days prior to departure will receive no refund.
