We have returned to our classic Lakes Plus itinerary again, starting up north in Toronto with a dinner reception on the first evening. The next day, enjoy an afternoon game at Rogers Centre, check out the incredible views from the CN Tower. On the way back to the states we will stop at the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame to learn about their baseball history before arriving in Motown for a Tigers game at Comerica Park. The group continues east to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati. The tour also includes visits to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame and even the Reds Hall of Fame to make this one Hall of a trip!

Please arrive in Toronto by 4 PM. Enjoy a trip reception and meet your host and fellow travelers this evening and begin your road trip with a two-night stay in Canada’s largest city, Toronto. The remainder of the evening is at leisure. The reception includes a meal and non-alcoholic beverages.

After a hearty morning breakfast it’s just a short walk along Lake Ontario to the CN Tower, North America’s tallest freestanding tower and classified as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. After the visit, the Rogers Centre is just next door where you’ll enjoy an afternoon game between the Chicago White Sox and Toronto Blue Jays. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Toronto.

This morning, after breakfast, you’ll travel Southwest through Ontario to Detroit. Along the way you’ll stop in St. Mary’s, home of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. This museum commemorates great players, teams, and accomplishments of baseball in Canada. The evening is free to explore Detroit from the centrally located Hilton Garden Inn.

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before departing for the Henry Ford Museum. The Clemente Museum is dedicated to preserving the life and legacy of former Pittsburgh Pirate, Roberto Clemente. Drafted in 1954, he rose to become one of the greatest baseball players of his time. Facing both racial and language barriers on and off the field, Clemente rose above adversity and dedicated his life to helping those in need. He is remembered for his extreme generosity and empathy for those less fortunate. The museum’s exhibits contain photographs and artifacts that help to educate visitors on all aspects of Clemente’s life.
Enjoy some afternoon leisure time in Pittsburgh before watching the New York Mets take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in an early evening matchup from PNC Park.

Afterwards, head into Great American Ballpark to watch San Diego Padres and Cincinnati Reds play an evening game on the banks of the Ohio River.
