Day 1 – Arrivals into Oklahoma City (OKC)
A short transfer from the airport will allow you time to check in at the hotel and freshen up prior to the evening activities. A welcome dinner at one of the City’s most requested Steakhouses is certain to satisfy the appetite of your travel day. Overnight: Holiday Inn Oklahoma City North, OK(D)
Day 2 – Norman
This morning we will tour historic Stockyard City, a district which is the largest stocker/feeder cattle market in the World! The opportunity to walk the catwalk above the cattle pens where livestock are being held for auction is available to you. With the excitement building, we’ll travel to nearby University of Oklahoma Switzer Center, named after OU’s all-time wild winningest head football coach, Barry Switzer. This afternoon our touring track continues as we visit the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History. Dating back millions of years we’ll come to better understand the wild diversity of ecosystems that influence Oklahoma. Also we will tour the NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory and get an overview of the operations at the National Weather Service. Day 3 – Bartlesville
We’ll travel east this morning to the calming countryside of Shawnee where it’s all about lavender at the Country Cottage Primitives. Samples of lavender lemonade & refreshments will prepare us for a wild afternoon of touring. We’ll explore a portion of “Mother Road” heritage at the Route 66 Interpretive Center before heading into the horizon of Oklahoma’s oil landscape. Here we’ll learn of a poor farm boy, turned barber, turned Oklahoma oil baron, Frank Phillips. Overnight: Hampton Inn, Bartlesville, OK (B,L,D)
Day 4 – Ponca City
This morning we’ll visit Johnstone Park, where Nellie Johnstone, the first commercial oil well in Oklahoma is located. Following the tour, we’re headed into the wilds of the Oklahoma landscape to Woolaroc Ranch, Museum & Wildlife Preserve. This afternoon we’ll become inspired as we visit the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church & the Osage to gain insight on the heritage of Native American culture. This evening experience culture of a different sort as we visit the Marland Mansion, better known as the “Palace on the Prairie”. Overnight: Holiday Inn Express, Ponca City, OK (B,L,D)
Day 5 – Oklahoma City
After a visit to the Conoco Museum, we’ll be fueled & ready for another great day! To ensure that a smile stays on our faces, we’ll tour Eskimo Joe’s Clothes World Headquarters. Everyone is certain to love that happy, smiling face. We’ll make a stop to explore Guthrie, the first Capital of the Oklahoma Territory. Here we’ll take in a trolley tour & then have some time to explore the quaint downtown district. This evening we’ll visit Remington Park Racetrack & Casino for some wild action. Whether in the casino, or by simulcast horse racing, it’s an evening that will be action packed. Overnight: Country Inn & Suites, Oklahoma City, OK(B,L)
Day 6 – Oklahoma City
Touring Oklahoma City is our agenda for the day. Our morning will begin with a driving tour of Oklahoma City, giving an overview of the downtown area & the revitalization that has occurred over the past few years. As the afternoon progresses we’ll be making stops for “must see” attractions such as the Red Earth & the Oklahoma National Memorial Museums. As the sun begins to set on our day of wild adventure, we’ll hop aboard a water taxi to enjoy an evening in Bricktown. Overnight: Country Inn & Suites, Oklahoma City, OK(B,L)
Day 7 – Oklahoma City, afternoon departure (OKC)
Perhaps no better representation of Oklahoma’s wild spirit could be more accurately presented than by the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Here you’ll gain a better understand of the West: a region and a history that permeates our national culture. We’ll enjoy a closing luncheon at Persimmon Hill prior to returning the airport for our afternoon departing flights. (B,L)

Cancellation Policy
Deposit fully refundable if cancellation occurs 60 day ore more prior to departure date. A cancellation penalty of $100 is applicable if cancellation is 59 - 31 days prior to departure. No refunds within 30 days prior to travel date.
